SPI Wears Historic Brand!
 
Eighty-Three years, this is how long UMBRO has been involved with the game of soccer. Legends such as Maradona, Best, Moore and even Pele have proudly worn this famous brand. As of January 25th, 2008 SPI trainers and coaches will also wear the historic diamond.  “There aren’t many of us that have played the game that didn’t own a pair of UMBRO boots!!” says, Adam Baumgardner, Director of Youth Programs at SPI. It was Baumgardner that worked closely with Chris Hellenkamp of UMBRO to finalize the sponsorship agreement.
 
UMBRO considers itself “a leader not follower” in the field of gear development, SPI mirrors this sentiment in the field of player and coach education.

HUGS Summer 2008
Summer Program Registration Now Open!

 

The summer 2008 HUGS Program is set to begin Sunday, June 29th.This five (5) week program is especially designed for players ages 3-6 years old. All our player get a HUGS t-shirt and participation medal for all their efforts!! 

Date(s): Sunday, June 29th through Sunday, August 3rd
Note: there is no session scheduled for Independence Day weekend-Sunday, July 6th
 
Time(s): 5-6PM
 
Location: Franklin Middle School-Chantilly
 
Cost: $90 Individual-$60 Sibling Rate

International Goal-Keeping Summer Academy Program
Stefano Tusoni-Ravenna Calcio Youth Coach Added to Academy Staff!

This "in-season" program has been designed especially for young goal-keepers (ages 11-16) utilizing European training methods. The week long training camp will address the technical, tactical and physical aspects for goal-keepers currently playing or aspiring to play this position at a higher level.
