SPI High School Training Program: Goal-Keeping Academy

Academy participants will work closely with our Goal-Keeping Directors as they receive constant feedback and evaluations in their small-teaching groups. Players will be grouped by age and playing experience.

Program Director:
 
Massimo “Max” Bonazza- is a former professional player from Italy with over 25 years playing experience. He has spent the majority of his playing career with Ravenna Calcio F.C. (www.ravennacalcio.it) of the Italian Serie "B" where he now trains a new generation of goal-keepers. Max holds a prestigious  EUFA “B” License.
  
 
Program Details: 
  • Ages: 13-18 
  • Dates:  Monday, January 26th-Friday, January 30th 2009
  • Times: 7-9PM
  • Location: Poplar Tree Training Facility-Chantilly
  • Cost: $140

Program Curriculum (Partial List):

  • Proper GK Warm-Up/Cool Down
  • Intermediate Technical Instruction including;  footwork, jumping, catching, diving and 1 v 1 situations
  • Intermediate Instruction on dealing with; long balls, re-starts, penalties and pass-backs from field players
