Elite Travel Team Training Camps
Summer 2010

Camp Format
Teams will be assigned an experienced SPI Trainer (USSF or Internationally Licensed) for the week. The SPI Trainer will work in conjunction with the current coaching staff to prepare a daily curriculum. A camp training day will consist of two hours of specific training and a minimum of two (1 hour) games during the week against other participating (or invited) teams. Goalkeepers will receive 2 hours of individual training per day (varies depending on age group) and then will be incorporated back to their teams for scrimmages and tactical training.
 
 
 
               Camp Curriculum
  • Technical Concepts- Passing, Shooting, Heading, Tackling, Changing of Pace, Re-start Plays, Throw-ins etc.
  • Tactical Concepts- One v One, Movements with and without the ball, Communication, Principles of the game  (attacking/defending), Team Tactics, Group Tactics (3v2, 5v2).
  • Competitive Edge- Learn the importance of trying new and unfamiliar skills, create a positive self-image, develop leadership skills and learn to play under pressure!

  • Age Groups: U9-U12 (Boys/Girls) U13-U16 (Boys/Girls)
  • Cost: $120/player (mini of 9 player per team)
