Program Details:
Saturday 2:30-3:30PM U8 Future Star Program Demo
- This program has been especially designed for players U8 through U13 and has skill and conceptual development as the primary focus. Program utilizes a high-level curriculum which challenges our young players both physically and mentally. SPI trainers, experts in the field of youth development, use modern teaching techniques to prepare players for the upcoming season. Along with ball handling skills players are introduced to basic and fun plyometric, conditioning exercises as part of each session. These exercises are designed to improve balance and coordination.
Saturday 4-6PM U10 Circuit Training
- The biggest challenge to current coaches is to keep our training sessions educational, dynamic and fun. The circuit training method has all these characteristics and is utilized by some of the most sophisticated clubs around the world. This model has a number of advantages:
- Variety- Provides variations on skills related exercises
- Touches- Players have a ball at their feet entire session, maximizing ball contacts
- Focus- Exercises are kept to 15 minutes which facilitates keeping players focused
- Repetitions- Working on the same skill set in a different station allows for maximum learning
